The era of possessing gadgets with flexible displays is near. You might have heard for a while now about both Samsung and LG planning on releasing smartphones with flexible displays.

This rendered image on what appears to be a tablet with a flexible display was leaked by Mobileaks

In the above picture we see the tablet with what appears to be some built-in stand which is part of the tablet's chassis and the screen bends when it's flipped out, it's all very clever made.

Along with the image, some information about specifications was also given such as:
  • Flexible 10,1" AMOLED display
  • 1920X1080 resolution
  • 2GB RAM
  • 1,6GHz Exynos 5 Octa processor
  • Support up to 64GB external memory storage
  • 3MP front camera
  • 32GB Internal memory
  • 8000 mAh battery
As for this being real or not, who knows. We will just have to wait and see if Samsung themselves will mention it in the future.
Samsung did show us the the YOUM flexible screen during CES, so there is hope that this could be real. It is said that LG is also planning on releasing their first device with such display this year.
